Topic: what happened to flipnote studio 3d?

i knew it was coming at august but its almost over and i haven't seen even news from the app, what happened?

There is no interest from Nintendo, no business reason to justify the effort.
After the SwapNote debacle, you'd be wise not to hold any expectations for FlipNote.

I wouldn't hold my breath. After the whole Swapnote-fiasco, Nintendo went into panic mode and hastily flipped the switch on anything resembling a communication tool between users. It has taken so long that the chances of Flipnote Studio ever resurfacing are next to none in my books.

Nintendo is going to release F-zero U and 3D in all regions long before we get Flipnote Studio 3D

I am thrilled to be wrong.

Disabling all sharing outside of local exchange is unfortunate, but the fact we are getting the software at all is fantastic because I had totally written off FlipNote ever getting released outside of Japan. That Nintendo finally came good on this promise is a much bigger surprise than Club Nintendo folding.

Well I'll be damned. Didn't see this coming – glad to be wrong, though.
