I was shopping on Amazon on Black Friday weekend (MAN, they had some awesome deals!) when I stumbled upon this. It was funny and cheap, so I ordered one. It arrived today, and I just HAD to take some pictures to share.
As you can see, it includes King Hippo's crown (made of real metal, even...but fake gems, of course) and boxer shorts (size large, which seems too small to actually fit the guy...weird)! Modeled by one of my stuffed animals (crown fits quite well, I think...the boxers, not so much). You might be wondering what that thing in his lap is: Okay, so the picture's a bit fuzzy (and by "a bit," I mean a lot ). It's "Doc's Remedy," a real live chocolate bar! I have no intentions of eating it, of course. That'd just ruin the wrapper and the coolness of it all. The pack also contains this: A King Hippo desktop punching bag! He's even weighted in the bottom so he doesn't fall over TOO easily (hit hard enough and he may, though).
I think we can all agree the mere EXISTENCE of this package is extremely weird. For me, it was just too good to pass up, especially for only $6.98 (it apparently released at $20). I just HAD to share it with you guys. So...what do you think?
It was more than $20? That's odd...$20 was the list price on Amazon. Though, they DO like to list prices that aren't necessarily the normal going price...meh. I thought you guys might like this. Glad you do.

When the game launched that thing was like $50+ dollars, and it didn't even include the game!

Lame. But I think we can all agree that $6.98 is a great value for what's included in the package! My brother thinks I'm crazy for having bought it at all, but then he doesn't like Punch-Out!! half as much as I do either.

Oh sh*t I was about to make a topic about this when I opened it up on Christmas! Curse you Stuffy! I was gonna call it "You're not a hardcore Punch-Out!! fan unless..." Anywho, I'll post some pics of mine when I unbox it. EDIT: Oh yeah, and: "You might not want to wear the boxer shorts. Here's the warning label that can be found attached to it. 'Warning : The yellow ink printed on the boxers contains traces of a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer.'"
