@RR529 I heard there was a Kingdom Hearts manga, I wonder why it didn't become anime.....

The KH manga sucks, and this is coming from a big KH fan.

It covers the events of the first game, but cuts out some of the worlds, and most egregiously, most of the fights (It's the important ones it leaves out, as well. Seriously, Ansem gets beat without a fight...)

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

Maybe the phoenix wright series and zero escape series would work. I mean they have a nice plot and enjoyable characters. Not to mention making an anime out of it would make more people interested in the franchises. Not to sure if it could work since the exploration/finding contradictions in phoenix wright and the puzzle solving in zero escape add a lot of enjoyment and without them it might be alot less enjoyable.

You're the first person I've met who thought the puzzle-solving actually added to Zero Escape...

W/o going into too long a post, there was a Mega Man cartoon, in the mid 90's. It was done by Ruby Spears, who also worked on (the original/classic) Scooby-Doo. Initially, the animation style was going to follow the series' artwork style. Then, presumably b/c of competing cartoons of that time, the show was given a kind of western American-Superhero-ization; the character designs were altered, & so were some of the character personalities. The episodes were never storied/arced together; the series was very episodic. Despite all this, it did a better job at Mega Man than another favorite game cartoon of mine; Captain N & the Video Game Masters. There was also an episode featuring (Mega Man) X that was supposed to start a spin-off(also by Ruby Spears) about the X series, but never came to light, due to the show being cancelled. I've heard, but don't know for a fact, (that) the reason was Bandai complained to Capcom about poor toy sales.

In the Mega Man Maverick Hunter X PSP remake, there is a 20-25min. bonus ova(original video animation) that preludes the first x game.

Despite these, I would take a Mega Man, & X series anime(s).

A bit off-topic: While on the subject, though they were generally episodic, & often not very sticking to source material, I absolutely loved all the Nintendo cartoons as a kid, primarily The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3, The Legend of Zelda(despite how short it was;13 episodes in only a few months), & Captain N(despite its flaws, too). I would have also loved the MM cartoon, but I never watched it, nor was I a MM fan back then; only Super Mario Bros., & Kirby.

Edit: An anime about the Zero series would also be awesome. As far as I'm concerned, as long as source material is stuck to, I'm fine w/ a series w/ as short a length as the Zero series would be, given it's only 4 games.
