What are the worst games of all time?
We're not just talking bad, these are bad among the bad. The worst of the worst.
It can't just be bad in your opinion, either; it has to be considered bad by the general gaming community.
How many of them are there? And which one is the very worst of all?
In my search for the worst of the worst, these games tend to show up as the most well-known awful games:

If it almost single-handedly brought about the video game industry crash, it must be bad.

I read somewhere that there is an organization dedicated to the destruction of each and every one of the cartridges of this game. 'Nuff said.

Full of glitches, flying through rings, important messages that only flash on the screen for a few seconds... it's just about as close to unplayable as you can get. Oh, and it also had a notably terrible ending. If there isn't an organization dedicated to this game's destruction, there should be.

This game was just boring. The Mr. Hyde sections are decent; but long sections of moseying along as Dr. Jekyll, watching out for guys with bombs, cats, and bird poo, is just intolerable. And sometimes there are no hazards, and it's just slowly walking down the road!

Well,
Sonic 06 and Duke Nukem Forever aren't as bad as those, but for modern day games coming from notable developers their existence is one of mockery.

...And Wii Party. I don't care if I'm the only one who hated that, but I HATED it. Like, the only game I've ever truly hated.

Also: Metroid: Other M is banned from being eligible due to it being a good game.

Also, the CDi Zeldas. These will always hold a special hatred in my heart, as they basically just made a mockery of my favorite series.

I agree Metroid Other M wasn't a bad game. Its actually one of my favorite Wii game. But the controls could have been better as well.

Red Steel is the worst game on the Wii. I burned my copy in a camp fire. (Literally.)

Games I hope I'll never play, and therefore never have to truly judge.

Of all the games I've played personally, Aquaman: Battle for Atlantis easily takes the cake. It was a gag gift toward my brother, and we played it together. It was an absolutely atrocious mess.

Never played that game before but duuuuude, that's awesome!

Worst game I've played was Superman Returns for the PS2. Are all Super Man games made by the same people? Is there a Curse of the franchise? Or are they purposely all just making them damn near unplayable? Because seriously, I've never been more frustrated than trying to play that game. It was bland, boring, the hit detection was bad, the missions were obscure, and the second level I swear was pretty much impossible to beat. It was utter trash. I only got it because K-Mart bundled it with KoFXI, which was one of my favorite games for a while.
