Space and Games are similar. Space is endless and new stuff is out there waiting to be discovered. Games are always being made but the creativity is different from one game to another and so many more ideas still haven't been imagined or created yet. (That came out better than expected lol)
@ThatZeldaNerd Quite honestly never listened to her music and only really noticed her now since the media wants to go crazy who she is dating now, especially during Chief's games.

The definition of appealing to the lowest common denominator. No doubt a successful strategy from a financial perspective but as music it's not particularly interesting. To be clear, it's not bad which is more than what you can say for a lot of popular artists. But it is also not particularly interesting
Case and point I don't really know her catalogue back to front because it's not my jam. But I do do song quizzes with friends sometimes. When a Taylor Swift song comes on none of us will know it..... but we will almost without fail say some variation of "I don't know, but it sounds pretty generic". It's shopping centre music. Mid is most definitely the word. But that's by design and, generally, what super popular music tends to trend towards
I don't really understand why people hate her. But I understand why people don't care and are a bit tired of the media obsession and the victim complex some of her fanbase seem to have
I canāt remember her songs honestly, I donāt hate her like people seem to do but her fans are pretty nuts. Also I kinda think she comes off a bit winey because the most faint thing I can remember from her songs are usually her talking about a breakup of sorts from a blast relationship. But I could definitely be wrong in that department, just not my thing but more power to all her fans.
Oh I think her shows are cool, I hear she does all her songs in one concert? Thatās really awesome honestly and impressive.

There are already multiple music threads on the forum this could go in but then again Taylor Swift is less a topic on music and more stupid culture war nonsense which is the evolution from the Satanic Panic and Salem Witch Trials.
I do find it odd that so many people go on about ābut she writes break up musicā which is more of a meme which gets repeated than an actual thought on her music that occurs to people since most people donāt take in lyrics at all and music has always featured heartbreak songs, it reminds me of this High Fidelity quote.
In any case why listen to Taylor Swift when there truly inspiring music out there like Cannibal Corpse or Napalm Death?
