Topic: the nintendo week thread

Desperate fanboys? I'm sorry you don't like the Star Fox series, but I think many people would love to see the SNES sequal that never saw the light of day. The Youtube videos of it look awesome.

Turns out the mythical title was merely Kid Icarus. Today's show was quite lame with it's Greek theme and discussions of older titles. There was some cool info on Glory of Heracles but if you've been following the net, you've probably knew of the discussed features anyway. Also disappointing was the mention by Alison of X-Scape for next week but no video to help wet our appitites. Just the news that it's about a tank.

I liked how the show had a consistant Grecian theme to hype up Glory of Heracles, but the video game talk left a lot to be desired. 4/10.

The theme threw me off. I'm not so sure if next week can redeem this week.

I watch it for interviews with Nintendo bigwigs and exclusives, though they are few and far between.

Who is still watching Nintendo Week? I used to watch it all the time, but I got busy, and stopped. It's kind of bad, but its got its charm. Is it still just as "good"?

Alison is hot so she is excusable, but the Gary guy is just lame. I can barely stomach to watch it. I think the last episode I saw was the one with the guy who voices Mario at E3. As Marios voice in the game its cool, but to see the guy talking like that in public was almost embarrassing to watch.

They seriously don't need to do an episode if there are no games to cover. The recent episodes have been totally pointless.

They keep covering the same thing for a number of weeks then it fades away, like NSMB Wii.

I don't think I'd ever call Mario's voice cool, regardless of the context in which I hear it...

I'll catch up with my Nintendo Week viewing eventually. I like to see their cheesy antics.

i just watched my first episode of Nintendo Week. well, its not a really gamers show. its aimed more towards the less serious game players who probably dont go to websites to get their gaming news. its not very funny either. its like if college students tried to make a video about the nazis and had to show it to 1st graders. the students want to lighten the atmosphere by including humor, but the humor cant be too inappropriate for 1st graders, so theyre stuck between a rock and a hard place trying to make clean jokes about the nazis. overall, its not meant for serious gamers, so if you dont like it, just ignore it

@briunj04 Really? I don't think the secret to making Nintendo Week better is by adding penis jokes. :/
