That Terranigma song would probably be fantastic if updated (and I'm usually on the side of older midi music, but maybe less so here...), which is why I begrudgingly went with the admittedly really boring DKCR choice (not that the song itself is boring by any means, but its a pretty safe update of that song).
Ugh, are all the Sonic title themes horrible? Haven’t liked either of the ones so far. Animal Crossing wins by default - but it’s pretty good anyway.
DKC versus Majorca’s Mask. Weird that the SNES tune is so much more interesting and inventive than the N64 one. Donkey Kong romps home.
So Donkey Kong Country Returns should be a shoo-in, right? Well, I reckon it’s an update that loses a lot of the energy of the original. Still a good song, but Terranigma has more grandeur (even if it is really going for that Dragon Quest feel). Terranigma for me.
Moving on from this round we have Animal Crossing: New Leaf at a score of 4-2, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask at 5-2, and Terranigma at 4-3. That’s brings us down to 32 total songs remaining. As always you can view the bracket here.

There were a few oddities this round as @kkslider5552000 mentioned. For DK 64, the song plays during the intro rather than the actual title screen, however I could not find the track that does play during the title screen so I give it a pass. As far as Super Mario Bros. and Splatoon are concerned, their title screens don’t have official themes so the songs are more main themes from the game. It’s a little stretch there, so if that affects your voting I’d understand.

The Jet Moto tune is so derivative of Misirlou, I couldn’t really vote for it, even though the Mario track isn’t really from the title screen.
DK Rap is one of the most excruciating things I’ve ever heard - putting up against Mega Man 3 was almost cruel. (Or K Rool?) Out of every contender so far, Mega Man 3 is the one to beat, IMO.
Oops, my bad. Not sure why I thought Splattack! plays on the title screen. Maybe I confused it with the splash screen when you select the game in the home menu? Or maybe I've just heard it so many times that I thought it must play in the title screen too? At least my other nominations fit the bill.

Note: For the Burning Rangers theme that was the only video I could find to include the actual title screen music so you’ll have to skip all the intro stuff.
Wasn't a fan of either Chrono Trigger or Etrian Odyssey, but went with CT in the end.
Went with Crypt as it's a great tune - something feels very off about the Fez one to me.
Both Burning Rangers and Double Dragon were great - I kinda felt nostalgia for these despite having never played either game. I went for Double Dragon as it generally felt like a better beat and melody.
A shame to see Octopath (one of my nominations) against a classic such as Halo..I had to go with Halo this time just because of how epic and iconic it is.
That Octopath Traveler title track is superb. Been a couple of years since I played it, and I’d forgotten how good it is. The Halo one is surprisingly good (I don’t like the series much, as a whole), but Octopath edges it. They’re by far the best two modern tracks so far - generally speaking, I’ve preferred the chiptunes.
I personally didn’t enjoy Chrono Trigger, and while I don’t especially enjoy Etrian Odyssey, it was better.
I generally like faster, louder songs better than slower, quieter ones. I make an exception with Crypt of the Necrodancer. It just seemed very sudden and in-my-face. Fez had a mysterious theme, which I enjoyed much better.
That third one was just cruel. Double Dragon is a great theme. But, Burning Rangers stole my vote, which is embarrassing because when I voted for it in Round 1, I thought ‘I’m going to keep voting for this one for a while.’
On the last one, they are both so good! I voted for Halo, but I’d be happy with either.

I’m quite surprised DKC 2 didn’t win last round, that was one of my favorites.
Chrono Trigger takes a little to get going but it suitably bold and adventurous when it does.
Crypt of the Necrodancer has really lively and fun music, something you need for a rhythm game. The Fez tune isn’t bad but doesn’t grab me as much.
Neither of these tunes are too interesting to me but I give the edge to Burning Rangers.
One of the hardest choices so far with this last one. Halo is iconic and sets the mood well even if it has become a meme. The Octopath Traveller track really surprised me though, it’s just really well made and gets you in the mood for adventure perfectly.

DKC2 is one of the best video game soundtracks ever, but the title track is bottom tier for that soundtrack imo.
I think it sets the mood for the game perfectly but considering how good the rest of the soundtrack is yes, it might be one of the weaker songs.
The winners this time were Chrono Trigger at 6-2, Crypt of the Necrodancer at 6-1, and Halo: Combat Evolved at 5-3. Double Dragon and Burning Rangers tied with 4 votes each. Normally for tiebreakers I do a random coin flip but if there are any other suggestions I’m open to them.

Bonus: The title screen for Kingdom Hearts actually has the ambient sound of waves crashing on a beach playing along with the song. It really goes well with the mood and is quite relaxing so you can listen to that version here if you’d like.
The Kingdom Hearts one is really nice but I love the New Leaf title theme so I voted for that. The New Horizons title theme (and most of the non-KK music in that game to be honest) doesn't do much for me though, I definitely prefer Lifelight.
The second poll was a tough choice but I went for Bravely Default. And the Kirby Mass Attack theme is alright but the Kid Icarus one is better in my opinion.
