Okay, I know there is a nightmare thread, and I'm pretty sure there is a weird dream thread (which I can't find, otherwise I'd probably go there), but I guess this can be for just dreams in general. And this is for sleeping dreams, not the life goals type.

Anyway, last night was one of those completely random, nonsensical dreams. At one point I looked up into the sky and saw two huge semi-transparent dolphins swimming in the atmosphere. At that point I actually said to myself that I must be dreaming and tried to wake up, but didn't. The last dream I remember having, I AT LAST got my hands on a Wii U. Now here's the kicker, I was totally calm while unwrapping everything, which would not happen in real life. If it was the real me, I'd be tearing the packaging away (the plastic not the box) and making evil laughs the entire time. It was quite odd.

A lot of my dreams have religious themes..

I had a really weird dream last week where the main characters from Wreck-It Ralph had to face off against Discord from MLP in a discorded Sugar Rush land. That was a weird dream, especially because they never ended up actually battling. I remember nothing else about it.
In theory it sounds sort of awesome, but the execution wasn't.

I have a recurring dream where I'm being chased round my old Highschool by a huge scorpion, it only started when I went to watch arachnophobia at the cinema when I was a kid

I'm actually trying to learn how to Lucid Dream. It's not going to good. So I'm making it one of my new years resolution. I will do it!
I've had multiple dreams about playing Animal Crossing New Leaf only to be disappointed in the morning.
One weird dream I had was that I was on a wildlife tour. We were at this squid exhibit when one of the squids jumped at me. I hit it off my neck and woke up with my hand on my neck.

I dreamed that I was playing a glorious remake of Super Mario 64 on my Vita. Best dream I ever had.

I've been meaning to make this thread for the last 2 years, but always forget my dream right when I sit down to write about it...including this time...I'll get back to you tomorrow. I always have interesting ones, I just need to remember them.

Well, about 2 weeks ago, I had a dream where Denpa Men were roaming around my school (and by that I mean the creepy ones from the ads) and a bunch of people in Spiderman costumes were trying to take over the world. That's pretty much all I remember.

My dreams are really strange. They often frighten me not because of the content, but because it came from my mind and I'm like...

Why did I dream that?

I used to lucid dream all the time, but it's gotten pretty rare now. Maybe once a month if I'm lucky. So I'm very interested in all the lucid dreaming apps out there to try and bring it back. Has anyone tried any of these?

The biggest one is called Dream:ON (I think that's how they spell it) and it sounds amazing because it gives you a bunch of scenarios for what you want to dream about! There are free ones and then premium ones for pay. The only problem is that it's only on iOS, and I have an Android. I've emailed them multiple times asking about them bringing it to Android and they just don't reply.

I had a dream once that I got the game Earthbound, but I woke up before I could play it.

Yeah...that happens to me sometimes...except mine are frightening both because of content and because my mind came up with it...I don't think I should make any examples...

Find a way to transfer that dream to me, minus the not playing it part.

I do remember one dream I had:

I dreamt I hired a couple of prostitutes, but when we got to the bed, I find out they were transvestites. So instead, we sat down and talked. They were very nice ladies...men...manladies.
You know, I don't think I've ever had sex in a dream. Something always happens to complicate the matter. Of course, that's not counting that one recurring dream I've already been asked to never speak about again...

BTW, does it count as recurring if your next dream picks up where the last one left off? If not, then what the heck do you call that?
And that's really weird when you think about it. It'd be like waking up from a falling dream, then the next dream is just the part where you hit the ground.

BTW, I had a falling dream where I hit the ground before. I didn't think that was possible. I don't think I got up and walked away from it, either...

My dream has been the same for the past 8 years... I feel like I'm closer to it because of Miiverse though

My dream was that I was in the Pikmin World (so here but smaller ) and I faced every boss, ( and by that ussually running and throwing Pikmin into their mouth. I am SOO nice to Pikmin.) even Smokey Progg and then the dream ended at Water Wraith for obvious reasons. (why couldn't I have dreamed Purple Pikmin. WHYY! It's so terrifying being slowly crushed by Water Wraith's rollers and seeing the censered bone-crunching blood spurting. I am SOO messed up )

I can't recall I've ever had a dream that takes place inside a video game world, always wanted to have one of those.

Mine are always really weird, yet relatable to the real world somehow. It's always stuff that can actually happen in my reality.
