So I decided to make a thread discussing everthing and anything about Pokemon. It doesn't have to be generation specific. Discuss about your favorite Pokemons, fun facts, etc. I'll start. Being able to talk about Pokemon itself while most Pokemon threads are about trading or about one specific game. Nice. Interesting facts you start the thread with. Torterra is not based on a dinosaur directly though. It's based on an old legend about a giant turtle who carried the world on it's back.

Ark_Sin	6. Posted: Tue 21st Aug 2012 02:44 BST @Happy_Mask FINALLY!!!! Someone else who like G3! I can't see what's wrong with it. First games I ever played. I didn't really get hooked until Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. Then, I went back and played them all! In my opinion, Pokemon Emerald seems like the most "self-sufficient" Pokemon game out there. Sinnoh relies on the "mysterious history" feel, while B/W relies almost solely on the story. In Emerald, you have tons of things to do in single-player, even without online (Battle Tents, Contests, Trainer Tower, Battle Frontier, extremely engaging and interactive overworld, different paths with different bikes, etc.) I loved it!

Posted: Tue 21st Aug 2012 02:49 BST My favorite generation, as I'm assuming everyone knows at this point since I won't shut up about it, Johto. :3 I started on Johto so that's probably why, but it just has so many Pokemon I love. I like every gen though. Least favorite has to be Sinnoh. Just didn't click with me. I like plenty of Pokemon in that gen, but not as many as usual.

Ark_Sin	18. Posted: Tue 21st Aug 2012 03:04 BST Am I the only one who feels like Johto's design is a little "bland"? I mean come on! I can forgive the first games, but the G2 games felt flat (even with HG/SS, I still feel like the region is bland, despite all the fixes.) Although I'll give it to Game Freak for making such a massive game on GBC. Actually, I think it's because of how massive G2 was that there is so much hate for G3.
