I like the game but this is entirely true. (but let's be honest many many many many many many sequels are unnecessary)

opposite to everyone else, I feel as though Metroid other M did a wonderful job on story, but did a horrible job on gameplay. I hated that every minute the game TRIED to have a jumpscare it just got corny to the point where I could pretty much predict whenever a new enemy was about to pop up.

Definitely true. It's the same with movies and books, some are just better off on their own. Ōkami told a beautiful story from beginning to end, and that was all it needed.

I think the "Ocean" theme from Wind Waker is the best Zelda piece of music of them all. If it's preceded by the "Dawn" interlude, even better.

A related opinion I was thinking about the other day: I believe DKC2 is better than Super Mario World, or any 2D Mario game for that matter. It's hard to have a set-in-stone favorite game of all time, but I realized DKC2 is one of the most likely candidates for me.

You can't say it's unnecessary, because the Publishers Capcom made it in the first place for a reason. Now I'm not entitled to my opinion, but I've learned a couple of things from that game and am inspired by the art so saying that, the game was worth it.

DKC3 deserves more notice. Almost every level has some new feature/mechanic that is only used for one level, making the games level design more diverse.

Also SM3DW Deserves more credit. It managed to combine 2 Super Mario games you absolutely hated(SM3DL and SMB2), shoved it down your throats, and made you like it.
