Topic: MyNintendo rewards for gold point Wii U games

I've just bought a Wii U but the ID I use for my Switch and 3DS can't be used as it's on another Wii U that I sold and didn't deactivate. If I redeem gold points for a Wii U game download with the ID I have for my Switch and 3DS can I still redeem the code on my Wii U if it's a different ID?

You could just ask Nintendo about it.
Also, why did you buy a Wii U again?

@Peace-Boy There's still some great games that I haven't finished and they're good enough to keep and go back to like a lot of Nintendo games.

@stuie1234 When you redeem a game on My Nintendo you get a download code you can use on any console.

There is also the option to activate the code directly on the My Nintendo site, but in your case that will register the game on your old Wii U, so just write down the code and input it directly in the eShop of your actual Wii U.
