How much money do you think you have spent on video games throghout your whole life??

Too much but that doesn't mean I'm stopping anytime soon. Its easily in the several thousands though.

It would probably be easier for people to answer how much they spend on average each month, or a year. I would have no way of telling how much I've spent on pretty much ANYTHING over the course of my life. You might as well ask me how much I think I've spent on comic or food.

All of my money goes oh well i'm only 14

I looked at my SD screen the other day and recoiled. I've spent too much on games over the years, but I think they're good value compared to music or films (legally at least).

When you're 14 all your money should be going on games.

In the last three years I've bought:
On PS3 alone, I have the 60GB ($599) model. Changed the 60GB for a 250GB. Bought a DualShock 3, and have 11 games.
Wii + 8 games + Controller and nunchuck + Controller Charger.
Bought a 2Gb card for Wii and have a older 1GB for DSi. I have a 1GB, 2GB, and 8GB cards for PSP.
Bought probably 6 DS games, 4 PSP games
Bought around 16 or so Wii point cards. About 6 Cheat Guides.

Between 2 and 3 thousand probably? It's hard for me to estimate because I've traded in and sold so many games in order to pay for other games. Expenses for the current generation alone run well over a thousand thanks to two consoles and a ton of downloadable content on both plus controllers.

I dont buy video games anymore I rent them!

I do the same, Cloud, for retail games. I only have three games on disc: Brawl, Buzz, and SingStar. Quite a change from my previous collection that filled multiple drawers and shelves! Can't stop buying games for download though. Just as cheap as rentals, usually better, and last forever without taking up shelf space -- what a deal!

My whole life? Geez. Well, my parents probably bought me everything I owned until the N64 days, so since then...$3000? Somewhere around there. (I'm including computer games I used to buy as well.)

Oh god... That's a scary thought... Had I bought everything at a full price it would probably be 3 times as much, I usually hold out on buying games until they go down in value a bit or if I can get a deal or something... But still... Ok, time for a quick calculation.

So after my quick calc here I end up with a number between 55000-65000 kr, which is about $7000-8200. Yeah... That sounds about right... Got a nice collection out of it atleast. Not sure if I should sort of be proud or be rather disgusted with myself about that. I think I'm kinda both...

Oh lord. I once estimated it a few years back and it was in the 80,000 range. And that was like 2 or 3 years ago.

Nintendo 64 with a lot of games,
Two Gameboy Colours with a few games,
GameCube with a lot of games,
Gameboy Advance with a few games,
Nintendo Ds the Nintendo Ds lite with a lot of games,
and a Wii with heaps of games.......
It's kind of depressing....
