I don’t know if anyone else had this problem but Kirby and the Amazing Mirror isn’t linear like the other games and I couldn’t figure out where to go next. I finish a level and there are several doorways and a lot of times I ended up back in a level I already played. Is there a easy way to know where to go next?
Sorry this isn't the most helpful comment but I had the same issue, it's surprisingly confusing for a Kirby game and I always ended up giving up on it. It's been years since I last attempted it though so maybe it's about time I tried again.
Yeah, the game is super confusing to be honest and I literally had to muddle my way through the game through trial and error. Took 50+ hours to clear and I haven't played it since. Might retry it when it drops on NSO, but man it was confusing...
Funnily enough, I just started playing this game and am mostly stumbling my way through it via trial and error for now. I have 3 out of 8 mirror shards, but I have traversed the same areas more than once. I even accidentally battled one of the main bosses again...and I've only been playing two hours tops. I might consult a guide if I get too stuck.
I have picked up maps every now and then, but I'm admittedly unsure how to use them....Might have to peruse the retro manual.
Edit: I forgot to mention that there is a way to easily return to the main hub as long as Kirby's phone has battery life. Just hold down the L button to summon a warp star. Holding down R will summon the three AI Kirbys.
