As soon as I heard the rumors, that's exactly what I expected. Every other Nintendo iteration was re-released so far, so why not Dream Drop Distance? Just kinda sucks because Nintendo platforms just get the offshoot stories where Playstation gets the entire collection.
I was expecting another compilation to arrive this year, but I guess the wait is until next year. (2.5+3.0)/2=2.75 round to 2.8. Birth by Sleep 2 might be a nice demo experience.

That is the same reason I am shooting for Sora in Smash as he would be wildly popular with smash fans and would even get the attention of KH fans. As I have said in another thread I would more than gladly repurchase the I.5 and the II.5 for the WiiU.
At this point, I'm really wondering why they even bother with Kingdom Hearts on Nintendo platforms when they're gonna give the middle finger to the crowd and "rerelease" it with a bit more shoehorned plot on Sony platforms, anyway. It happened with Chain of Memories, 358/2 Days, and Re:Coded, so Dream Drop Distance was just a matter of time. Stop wasting people's time and stay on Sony consoles, makes the whole deal much easier than this recurring joke.

Chain of Memories had the excuse of being on a actual viable handheld platform at the time. HD Days and HD ReCoded are inferior if you actually wanted to play said games rather than just watching the cutscenes.

@LztheQuack Didn't the KH dev team mention at some point that it's supposed to be a trilogy? I'm really not sure about that, but I think KH3 is intended to be the big finale...
