All these random games I've never heard of, and yet no Nier in sight. Something is wrong. I think they just took every RPG they ever played and randomized the order of them to make this list. That is the only explanation.

Meh I kinda like this list, yeah P4 was awesome clearly deserving of a better spot than 90 but at least it's on the list.

Bring on the handful of people that cant handle someone not liking the games they like - coming to the realisation that their opinion may not be fact.

There's no excuse for putting a game that has a 90 on metacritic at #90 (oh wait, I see what they did now!) while putting these completely unknown games with metascores below 70 above it on the list. Except to fuel fanboy rage.

You're using metacritic to establish how good these games are - there's your first problem.

There is no way to establish how good games are besides people's opinions, and the collective opinions of game reviewers across the web is probably better than just my own.

Very true, but with a system that means that 5/5 on a review means 100/100 - metascores are not representative of what reviewers ever intended them to be, and should not be used to debate such issues. It's just a list from some website - and while debating places on a list is all well and good, no one should be getting upset about what they chose.

I find this one being better than other lists they've made. Example: Nintendo Ds list, Ps3 list, *sigh...the best 25 gba games, etc.

But this one and the best 100 NES games are the only two I've found entertaining. They'll probably put Chrono Trigger, FF7, Pokemon R,B,Y, Skyrim or Wizardry1 as #1.

I actually feel sad that The Dark Spire, Devil Survivor or Nocturne will not make the list :/. But at least it's not litered with PC RPGs, MMOs, or FF13. lol

Final Fantasy XIII will be in the top 20, just you wait.

And uh, it is 'littered' with PC RPGs.

The problem with Ginormous top 100 lists is they'll end up sticking games on it that aren't very good just to pad the list to 100. Oh look. Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Wild Arms, and Shadow Hearts: Covenant are on the list. This isn't a list of 100 top RPGs, this is a list of 100 random RPGs.

Cause for many RPG gamers FF13 sucked and its on my list on biggest dissapointments ever in gaming.
