Topic: Games you regret selling

Posts 1 to 20 of 78

There are quite a few games I regret selling. Namely, pretty much all my GBA games. I had Wario Land 4, Yoshi's Island, Mario Bros 3, Super Mario Advance, DK Country... I even had the original Bionicle and Matoran Adventures.

I also regret selling off my Klonoa and Okami for Wii. I didn't get far on either but I decided I didn't like them anymore, so I sold them.

How about you guys?

Well the only game right now that I regret selling is my copy of Mega Man X collection. I didnt realize how hard it would be to get now but at the time I needed the money.

Also not a game but I regret selling my original model PS2. Again I had to sell it cause my roommate lost his job and we needed the rent money. Since than I have been trough 4 slim model PS2s. And unless I can find another original model PS2 I wont get another PS2.

I had a limited edition Pokemon Leaf Green GBA SP which my dad bought from the Pokemon Center store in New York (now Nintendo World). I didn't take good care of it at all and the screen broke, so my dad sold it for about £50 on eBay. If I had it now, I could easily fix it, and potentially sell it for a lot more...

And Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 which was one of the games that got traded in for my 3DS, I got extremely ripped off for that by GAME. Actually, just any game I traded into GAME because their trade in prices are just extortionate.

I... I don't specifically mean this to troll or anything, honest, but I actually never got into the habit of reselling my games until I bought third-party games on the Wii U.

With all of my family's travels, I have lost — and found — many games I owned, but we never resold any of them. The thought of reselling our games never really came to mind since we thought that a decade later we could still be playing them: that's how good are the memories they brought to us. That's why we still have my Gamecube and N64 games (Baten Kaitos I & II, Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, Wave Race...), and both consoles too (though they're not with me).

To rebuy all my favourites is about $400-$500. I was such a fool.

My brother and I sold all our NES, SNES and Game Boy games back in the day. How was I to know that I'd become a collector later on in life?! So annoyed... As he is the older one I'll blame him.

So many Awesome video games coming out this year! So many games so little money! Crap!

Paper Mario and The Thousand Year Door.

As a 6 year old kid, I didn't understand the game and got stuck in the first 20 minutes. Didn't even make it to Hooktail. So I sold the game out of frustration. a decade later, I realized my sheer stupidity and bought a used copy from Game Stop however, I don't have the original box art which really sucks; just that generic box Game Stop uses for used games.

Hercules for n64. I hated the game. It was flawed in so many areas and was frustrating and boring. However, I wish I'd kept it because it was boxed with instructions and would have been worth more now.

@Mk_ll how do you never sell games? I'm at gamestop atleast once a month.
