Does anyone know if Comedy Central will be offering these streaming off their website? I haven't turned on my cable in months, so I've been meaning to cancel it, and now Futurama finally comes along.
Also, tonight of all nights, some friends I haven't seen in a while want to meet for a few drinks. Gah! I refuse to put TV above socializing, but I'll be crying on the inside as I think about missing the premiere I've waited for since the original cancellation.

No idea about Comedy Central's site, but some CC content is available on Hulu, Futurama included. So...that's a possibility. Fingers crossed, as I'm in a similar boat. I canceled my cable service ages ago and haven't looked back...but The Venture Bros. and now the return of Futurama ALMOST make it worth paying for.
@RWP: if you're big into sci-fi/fantasy shows and books and games and stuff, Futurama is pretty hilarious. if not, though, most of the in-jokes/ other crap they reference in each episode will probably be lost on you.

Well, fortunately I managed to find the episodes streaming online -- somewhere out there, albeit not via an official channel -- and last night I just watched the first one.
I'm very pleased. The quality of the humor and parodying of sci-fi themes is as great as ever.

Saw the two new episodes that aired last night. I thought the one focused on Leela and Zap was pretty darn good. The other one was a bit meh, but it all balances out.
