It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

to be honest, i like both UPS and FedEx — the people who deliver to the shop are very nice. The UPS lady in particular works hard, and sometimes she chats for a minute or two. I'd ship with either :3

Whatever's the cheapest option really. I mean, if I save up to spend a lot of money on something, I can probably wait another five to seven business days without dying or going crazy. I'll only pay for next-day or overnight shipping if it's an emergency or for a last minute gift or something.

Anything but USPS.. They lost my Skyward Sword Golden Wiimote bundle, they found it after two month. It ended alright, I got my Skyward Sword but I still hate them.
My body is ready, can you say the same? Is your body ready?
Well, the original purpose of this thread sure got lost fast...
To be fair, the actual intended discussion can be very...polerizing, to say the least. This way, people can avoid getting into a massive argument, at least.
BTW, is it true that in Italy, when the Post offices go on strike, they destroy the mail? I sure wouldn't want to ship with those guys.
Gamestop shipping costs a lot more than I thought it would, so I wouldn't go with that :3

USPS They get the job done every time :3 (I'm jk) Poor government.
dude USPS pissed me the hell off one time — don't get me wrong, i love our mail people and the guys down at the local post office are very nice whenever i have to go down there, but ffs i had to send a painting out, right? i wrapped it in bubble wrap and put it in a nice box, wrote 'FRAGILE' in big letters all over it and told the guy when i was buying postage for it that it was indeed fragile, i had it insured and everything, and apparently they took that to mean 'oh hey let's have our elephant machine stomp on it real good before it gets there' and a week or so later my client gets the painting with an apparently mangled box and a three-inch rip in the corner of the canvas. he didn't know he had to save the packaging for an insurance claim, so he threw it out, so i may as well have just tossed that extra fee to the wind there. in the end, he sent it back (this time in a box within a box within a box and bubble wrap) and thank goodness i was able to repair the damn thing for him and get it back out (again in a box in a box in a box and yes i paid the extra for an oversized package and had to refund my client the money it took for him to send it back to me) but good lord.
Moral of the Story: If you have to send out an 11x14 painting, layer your boxes and shell out for the oversized package fee if you're shipping via USPS, it's not worth the hassle to repair the painting afterthefact >:[
