Is it just me, or do people's avatars really affect the way you read their posts? like, for example, regardless of what he's saying, anytime Starboy posts, it sounds in my mind as if he's saying it through tears. or when i read comments by grenworthshero, he always sounds confused to me.... am i crazy, or does this happen with you, too?

Hasn't happened to me, really. Though I never took notice of that before. Also, I'm all for emotional expression shown through the eyes. Thus why my avatar is the way it is. I'm not always sad, although there may be a few times when it may occur.

yeah... it always seems like you're sad... but i guess it's just me. oh well. it's not just you, though. everybody's avatar gives them a different voice to me. maybe i am crazy....

Sometimes. It depends on the facial expressions of their avatar.
Like for Sylverstone, for instance, it sounds like a guy with red hair who is kind of cool and informed.
...and sorry, PhoenixSage. I always hear a girl when I read your posts. In my mind, anyway. It's weird.
Mario is my homeboy!

Hey, bro2dragons, what do I sound like?
6. Posted: Mon 28th Sep 2009 01:28 BST
ROFL, that's the best, MetalMario!
On topic: I can't say that I do. However, I am intruiged as to what my avatar makes other people think about me.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

I don't think you're crazy, bro2dragons. You just perceive things in a different way, which is great. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion when it comes to their point of view.

@PhoenixSage: i second Metal Mario. you do sound like a girl.
@Metal Mario: like Mario... but kinda clank-y.

well, thank you, StarBoy... but i never said crazy was a bad thing! _

I wonder what clanky sounds like. Haha.

Oh jeez, that's hilarious. XD I wonder how many people have a female voice attached to me...I'm going to be very wary of the podcast from now on because I don't want to shattered your pre-concieved notions. I wish I had a sexy female voice, but what I do have is a far cry from that...

I hope I'm not doing the same thing with other avatars that have girl characters.
13. Posted: Mon 28th Sep 2009 01:39 BST
I don't mind, of course. I find it somehow hilarious that I'm being mistaken for a girl. What that says about me psychologically I'll leave up to you.

Nothing, really. I don't judge people.
Unless they for some reason don't like Mario.

I love Mario, man. I grew up with the dude. We've been saving the princess together since 1991. He and I, we have a connection, you know what I mean? I press right on the control pad, and he runs right. It's liquid in motion. So we're good, MetalMario.

How do you people interpret MY posts?

.......you sound like a guy who's talking into the wrong end of the phone.
@PhoenixSage I feel that connection, too.
(By the way, I knew you did before. But that last post was awesome. )

Avatars influence the way people read each other's posts.
Reason why posts of mine are often interpreted as being more negative than they really are. Oh well.

Though I will admit that at few times I hear a female voice when I read longtimegamer's posts (please don't tell him/her I said that). Also, Phoenix, I know you are male; so much so, I hear a male voice. I don't think up weird voices depending on the avatar.
