Wow, I sorta helped in creating three threads in a day..............I should get some sleep.

I made Sheldon & Mr. Randoms back on Flipnote Hatena, now i'm a kangaroo mod that has a funko pop collection!

I'm not keen politics since that stuff is spooky, I'd rather watch SpongeBob over Fox News anyways!

@Retro_on_theGo I'm sorry for that.

But let's start off with something that will be in your head forever and also was made into great games by Capcom

I miss Flapjack.

On the topic of Adult Swim

Home Movies > Space Ghost Coast to Coast > Moral Orel > The Boondocks > Frisky Dingo > China, IL > 12 Oz Mouse > Harvey Birdman > Early Aqua Teen > Perfect Hair Forever

The rest either suck or I'm forgetting.

As for AS original programming:

6. Squidbillies (It's incredibly stupid, and it's murder on the eyes, but there's just something about it that keeps me watching, lol)

5. the Boondocks (It's extreme political BS keeps it from being truly great, but it's animated fantastically, it can have some great action, and when it's politics don't get in the way, it's humor shines)

4. Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law/Space Ghost Coast to Coast (A lot of older AS shows were so good, because they actually took former children's characters and brought them into a more risqué environment. It worked a lot on nostalgia, and I feel these two were the best)

3. Early ATHF (the show seems to have lost a lot in recent years, but I quite enjoyed the older eps. Oh, and the Mooninites rule!)

2. Robot Chicken (I may not care for their jokes aimed at religion, and I think they lay on the Transformers & G.I. Joe skits a bit too much, but everything else is awesome. Some of my favorite skits are the Dragonball Z Christmas, Mario in Vice City, and Final Fantasy VII fast food ones)

1. Venture Brothers (the only AS programming outside of Boondocks that actually has a coherent plot, and unlike the former, isn't held back by political BS. The Monarch and his nerdy henchmen being my favorites)

The rest I don't care for or weren't memorable, IMO.

If The Boondocks had no social commentary, it would just be a bunch of lame blaxploitation jokes with unnecessary violence (a la Black Dynamite)

I'm not saying all of it is bad (or that they shouldn't have it), I just think think that a lot of it is on the far extreme of it's side of the spectrum.

For the record, I thought Black Dynamite was pure garbage (especially with it's extremely offensive stereotyping).

This was my childhood.

Every friday I'd run to the TV at 8pm and watch an awesome line-up of cartoons until I went to bed. My favorties were Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, Ed, Edd 'n Eddy, Samurai Jack, and Kids Next Door. It was nothing short of awesome seeing the cartoon characters themselves host the show, I was ecstatic when Mojo jojo and Eustace from Courage the Cowardly Dog hosted; being big fans of them. The only character I wanted to see host but never did was Aku, but I know that Samurai Jack himself did it though.

CN is less than a shadow of its former self nowadays.

Agreed. Although, Courage the Cowardly Dog was one of those shows that I found a bit disturbing when I was little.

Any of you guys seen Dexter's Rude Removal?

Edit: To me, most of CN's made for TV movies beat the pants off their theatrical releases.

You all forgot to mention this one little cartoon called:

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

Wait... There's a whole thread about that...

I guess we'll spare this one from pony.

Other than that, I remember this cartoon called Loonatics Unleashed. Greatest. Thing. Ever.

@CaptainMorpheus: Actually, that brings up another of my pleasures, The Hub channel. A wonderful collection of shows both new and old.

I never watched that particular block that often (I usually caught those shows during daytime runs), but I agree there were some classics (Dexter's Lab being my favorite).

Toonami is the best thing to ever happen to CN, though. Especially during it's weekday afternoon heyday. I remember rushing home after school to catch awesome shows such as ReBoot, Dragon Ball Z, Tenchi Muyo!, Gundam Wing, G Gundam, Big O, & Rurouni Kenshin.

Sure, AS recently revived the block (& I gladly tune in every week), but it's not quite the same.
