Topic: Billy Mays DEAD!

Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, MJ, and Now Billy Mays. Something is wrong here.

i sense a plot here, what do they all have in common?

Billy Mays is one of those guys I wish I met in life. He is just one of those out-spoken guys that you just have a life with and feel good about everything. It makes me wonder what The Discover Channel with do with there show Pitchmen now... I hope they do a big tribute for him.

R.I.P. Billy.

They are all famous people who died in the past week.

that's obvious, but what are the chances of them all dieing so suddenly?

Well, Farrah's cancer was at an incurable stage, so she didn't have much time left. Ed was pretty old and in failing health in recent years. MJ had poor health for years, and had rumors of addiction to pain killers. Just weird timing.

RIP Billy! I just watched my first episode of Pitchmen last Weds. He certainly put a lot of time into his work. He looked pretty scary holding that bug bazooka!

i am seriously sad now. Billy Mays was pretty awesome, and Pitchmen is a great show -- there's no way they can continue it without him. This is a bad week to be a famous person.

I feel terrible that Billy Mays is gone, but he was one of the most annoying people I've ever seen on TV.

Don't hate him for his work. Why do you think he is annoying? Simply because he was great at his work: getting people's attention. If he didn't do such a good job, you probably wouldn't even know who he was.

@SMW: he didn't say he hated him, he just said that on TV Billy Mays was one of the most annoying people he's seen. seriously, who watches infomercials and doesn't find them annoying?
