Let's see, Terranigma. I'd recommend Elfen Lied, Death Note and Cowboy Bebop (the series) if you haven't already. Code Geass is really great, I have the 1st season and have seen R2 (which IMO is a lot better than a lot of people said.)

Do you know where you can watch Gurren Lagann on the internet for free?

I've been through Death Note (Only Manga series I've bought ever) and Cowboy Bebop but I haven't seen Elfen Lied, so I'll look into that

@Ravage - There are lots of sites where you could probably watch it. Just type in Google something like "Watch Anime Online" and you should get quite a few websites.

For new stuff I recommend D.Gray-Man, Bleach and Code Geass. You're doing all right running through the classics. Try Cowboy Bebop the Series and Ghost in the Shell (series + movies = huge content).
Kino no tabi is also very interesting (finished watching 1 week ago)

It (being the first 2 volumes of R2) is coming out around 08/08/09 in the US if Amazon.com is correct. There are a few other release dates depending on where I looked but no later than August.

Thanks. This is great, I'll have a look into Kino no Tabi and D.Gray-Man. I've seen the Ghost In The Shell films by Oshii, so I've been thinking about watching the TV Series' lately.

I'd 2nd that Ghost in the Shell S.A.C. recommendation. Here are my thoughts: it doesn't really matter if you see S1 or S2 first. (I saw S2 first, lol.) I think that S1 had better stand-alone episodes and S2 had a better central plot. However, if you like great voice-acting, go for the main english dub and ignore the movie edits of the seasons (subtitled Laughing Man and Individual Eleven respectively, both changed the cast)

YES! The 3rd movie is subtitled Solid State Society and takes place 3 years after S2. I DEFINATELY recommend it if you enjoy the series (they managed to improve the animation even more somehow) and also recommend you save it for last.

Good call Objection_Blaster!
It's just that I watch animes in japanese, with english or portuguese subs, so I can't really comment on english dubs ^^"

Don't worry, It'll be saved 'till the end, should be great. I remember hearing about it before but wasn't sure if it was a compilation movie. Thanks a bunch :)

No problem. I've become somewhat knowledgable on quality anime after buying a shelf or so worth of it in the last year or two. I love recommedning my favs to people, so don't hesitate to ask me! I wish there was a site similar to NL or Backloggery.com for anime...

I started my own Backloggery recently myself, I've got tons of games so filling it could take awhile. It's quite a good site, so I'd like to see an Anime version too.
