The bit where it says 'Debbie, your cleric has been raised to the 8th level, I think it's time you learn how to really cast spells' is the most unintentionally funny line of English ever written.

The best part is reading the articles about D&D inked under the comics. They use the most feeble evidence they can about the people to link their crimes to D&D. It's almost like saying, "Ted Bundy drank milk as a child. As did Charles Manson and Chris Benoit. Without a doubt, these men killed because they drank milk!"

Definition of frump/frumpy.
1. A girl or woman regarded as dull, plain, or unfashionable.
2. A person regarded as colorless and primly sedate.
Of course this woman is dull as she has nothing to do but complain about video games. Of course she is plain. Have you seen her face on the site in which she blogs ? Unfashionable can only go with her face pic on the website in which she blogs.

Of course she is also colorless and I will tell you what she is colorless of. It is her personality. And she is mentally sedated.
I rest my case.
Eh what can I say ? Eh thats the best I could come up with. no ?

Remember my thread a few days ago? The one about the mom who said that video games were created by Satan? Well, she changed her mind. They were now, according to her, created by Lord Voldemort.

My main problem is that she totally ignored the fact that video games helped the people that played them, not that they were able to overcome their obstacles.
Also, again, all of her examples of video games are rated M and they are inappropriate for most children.

Okay, now I know that she is just a troll.
And she used World of Warcraft as an example. Not rated M.

The Game.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

I've heard of paranoid parents who say playing video games makes you stupid, or how you become some fat loser from playing video games, but this is RIDICULOUS.

Uh oh. He's back.

Here's my comment to her latest piece:
So, you’re kids are better off than I was at their age because they aren’t playing video games and are outside with their bats and balls. Interesting. What are your kids batting averages? What is their OBP? Are they a pitcher? What kind of ERA do they have and what is their best pitch? I ask this only for this reason.

Where the hell do you get off thinking your way is the right way?

What you are doing is disrespecting every parent that has ever allowed (see there, it is something that is to be controlled like everything else, whether it be TV, music, snacking, etc.) their children to play video games. My parents allowed me to play video games from the age of five. They also made sure that I went outside to play. Believe it or not, they even encouraged me in my game playing. Now, with these two articles you have basically said that my parents were unfit parents.

Are your kids All-Stars in baseball? I was.
You said your kid made a “C”. I never made below an “A”.
I was captain of the rifle team and cadet commander of the JROTC.
I was on the Quiz Bowl team.

I did all that while being a gamer.

I’m willing to bet you don’t allow your children to play organized sports as to not force them feel the agony of defeat. I’ll bet you think time outs are the best way to punish a child. If that is you, guess what? I’m not going to judge you or your children for that. If it isn’t, I apologize but that is the vibe you give off in these posts.

What I’m saying is your parenting style, if it suits you and your family is happy, is fine. For you. Most people, however, realize that there are worse things kids can get into than Mario, Zelda or even Grand Theft Auto (the game, obviously). In fact, many families actually play games together and have family time centered around it. What would be easier to do for a family; get mom, dad, Jimmy and Susie together for a game of Wii Sports or a group reading of War and Peace?

I’m pretty sure your heart was in the right place with these posts, but when you put yourself on a pedestal it’s very easy to get knocked off.

God bless you and your family.

again, chill dudes, it's a joke. Take it too seriously and the jokes is on you instead of the type of people it is being aimed at. Don't give them the "see gamers don't know what's real and what's not" arguement.

Thanks, guys. I just felt that if she wants to raise her kids that way, that's fine, but when she comes out basically attacks people like my parents who let me play video games but encouraged other forms of activity (such as sports, writing and marksmanship) it became personal.

You know what I mean the "Nobody calls my mom a B**** but me!" argument lol

My grandfather was a preacher for 35 years, he was busy preaching the word of God, not condemning people for what they do outside of church as that was not his business and he knew that. The guy in the video is not a preacher he is what is referred to as a fanatic of everything being bad. Most preachers are like that today and that is why I stopped going to church because I do not need someone telling me I am going to hell because of something I do. The preacher here in this video has obviously forgotten Thou Shall Not Judge. Just referring to the video that was embedded. Sorry for ranting.
