im starting to think that itd be cool for NL to have a cool show or two that updates every week. sure, we have the podcast and NLFM, but those only come out once a month. im thinking of shorter, more frequently updated stuff to add. one idea for a show could be called "Corbie's Corner" where every week, Corbie shows off another one of his crazy gamer gadgets that his room is packed with. what do you guys think? and also what ideas for shows do you have? hopefully if we get enough responses, some admin will integrate this into the site

Sounds cool! How about a humor section where fellow Nintendo Lifers can submit jokes and the admins can choose the funniest? If this does come about, I want to be credited.

How about incorporating something like that into a regular newsletter instead?

I'd think video reviews would be better, but that's not a bad idea.

I think the idea of a weekly show is great, it's just a matter of getting the time, equiptment and people to do it

Video reviews are a huge amount of work and I don't think anyone here has the skills or time to pull them off successfully. Don't get me wrong, I would love to do video reviews, but I don't think it would work.

I did a video review for the 3DS and you saw how that turned out. LOL

But I don't blame you all for not wanting to do video reviews.

CB would be great for video reviews. Also if you guys do Tails is awesome at video reviews.

I can't speak for the rest of the folks here, except to reiterate that doing a video review is a lot of work, and committing to a weekly one would almost certainly guarantee failure and disappointment. That's not to say it wouldn't be great...but with all the work that the mods/admins/reviewers do for NL already, I can't imagine they have much time left over for that.

I can imagine a lot of NL folks doing a brilliant job with such a thing...it's just a question, unfortunately, of actually having the time to do it.
