I have an idea of how to buy Tetris Party Live... ON DSiWARE, but I need a owner of a DSi and a 3DS (you own both) help on my theory.

If you traded your DSi copy of your game to your 3DS, can you still buy the game? On the games I traded over to my 3DS from my DSi (on my dsi shop account, under account activity) say system transfer title deleted.

I would greatly appreciate anyone who traded their copy to their 3DS to check your old DSi (if you even still have it) in the DSi shop, under Account Activity, find Tetris Party Live, with System Transfer, Title Deleted, and Click on the blue box in the middle of the page, and see if you can download it.

PLEASE DON'T REDOWNLOAD IT FOR ME! This is only my experiment, I already have test rats... I mean friends systems to try it on, but i would have to take his game. This way Im buying the game off of him and he can rebuy his copy.

I wonder if they even allow you to transfer games from the DSi to the 3DS once they're no longer for sale, since it might be the same thing as trying to transfer a DSiWare title that isn't available in the eShop.

Drat you just might be right, and since i cant use my lab rats systems to check (would be out of wifi)
I'll check to see if i can trade 4 swords to my 3DS once i move it to the sd card and then take the card out. It should be an equivalent to T.P.L.

I almost thought I got it on my DSi, but I remembered: I got it on my 3DS, because when I had my DSi, I couldn't buy it (not enough points). Looks like I'm no help to you then.

I checked out the system transfer, and it said no on 4 swords due to the fact the eshop kept a record of it even without my sd card inserted, now checking the dsi shop without my 4 gb inside...

Its the same as the eshop, so I think it would work, but could someone please tell me from their dsi's shop if they can buy Tetris Party Live from the shop after they traded their copy to their 3DS?

@Knuckles: I just checked out my DSi Shop. Tetris Party Live does show up on the list of titles deleted via system transfer unfortunately, when clicked on, a page comes up saying "This software is currently unavailable." Sorry, looks like there is virtually no way of downloading Tetris Party Live.

Yep. No way to download this.

If you have WEP, you can get either retail DS version of Tetris.

I was able to re-download it on my same 3DS system I purchased it on, but I am sad to hear you can't re-download it on a new system you've done system transfer to. This means that we paid money for a game that we can't re-download, and in my opinion, that sounds like a lawsuit to me! They stole our money. This is a really bad thing to do considering Nintendo is going to be pushing online downloads of normally only-available retail games in the coming months. This is going to make me and others lose faith in digital downloads.

I think you mis-understood. The game can be freely downloaded on a 3DS which was given the game from a DSi just as you can still freely download the game on a DSi if you've already bought it. I couldn't download the game on my DSi because I had already transferred the license for the game over to my 3DS which means this and every other game would have to be re-purchased to have back on the DSi. Since TPL is no longer for sale, they will not give the option of purchasing again just as a new-comer could not purchase it.

Then Irem´s VC games from Wii will not be possible to transfer to Wii U??

@DarkEdi It will be possible, just you won't be able to buy them on the Wii U shop or the Wii Shop

I have the Irem games already downloaded to my Wii, that is why i ask i wish to tranfer them too to Wii U (i already know they are not in the shop but maybe we can transfer to Wii U if it is already downloaded).
