Topic: Pokemon red version soon?

i know its wikipedia but they have at 1000 nintendo points on dsi ware page which sounds fair anybody heard anything about this?

I don't think they'll charge more for one game boy game than another. Nintendo hasn't been that way with the VC in America, so I'm assuming they won't be that way with the DSi VC. There are no licensing issues for a Pokemon game either unless they make something up.

I think Red and Blue will be the first two games released on the DSi arcade myself. There are not very many big Game Boy games out there and that would be a good way for it to get recognition.

Seems like they already announced it (not sure) and then tried to cover the tracks and act like they didn't say it. Who knows what they are putting the official anouncement off for though.
I don't think they would put games meant for a TV on a small screen like that. Most of the games would be mutilated if that were to happen.

Alrighty then. Well, I hope that they don't plan on just releasing console games. Knowing Nintendo they would probably not let you choose from all of the ones already up on the virtual console already but start releasing them all over again for the handheld vc.

the person who edited in the 'Pokemon Red for 1000 points' section has had issues with false release dates before. as always, do your own research; don't blindly trust Wikipedia for release dates. :3
