Topic: The future of DSi

I hope in the future that you'll be able to play DSiware games right off an SD card. I also Hope that the DSi Shop gets its own Virtual Console with Game Boy, Game Boy Color & Game Gear Games at the start. If the DSi gets its own Virtual Console I also hope that there will also be Neo Geo Pocket & Neo Geo Pocket Color games.

At this point for all of this (except hopefully an SD card storage solution) probably won't come out until 3DS (if at all).

If I got a nickel for every time I heard this...
And yes, I wish for these things too.

@Weirdprog... great avatar man. And yes we all hope Nintendo doesnt drop DSiWare, but seeing that 3DS is still a DS Im willing to bet it will still have the same DSiWare on it, as well as 3D exclusives on it, so the DSi doesnt get the shaft. Hopefully the inevitable DSiWare VC will also drop on DSi as well as 3DS.

I expect Nintendo will continue the DSiWare store through the 3DS. The old titles will probably be available - why throw them away when the handheld will be capable of running DS games? And besides, it would launch with an expansive digital catalogue too.

Maybe it'll be called 3DSWare or something?
