Topic: Swag from DQIX events!

This thread is now the hub for all DQIX swag. If anyone would care to snap some photos of any stuff they may have that isn't listed here, PM me on Backloggery (and if you don't have one, just post the link in this thread) and send me the link to the photo. Use Photobucket or something to host the image. All credit will be given to the original users who send in their respective photos.

So I went to two DQIX events and got some free stuff, so I thought I should show off show you the stuff I got.

DSi's camera could've gotten better quality with near-perfect lighting, but that's good stuff!

They were out of behind-the-counter shirts, but when I sarcastically said, "Aw, no shirt for me?" They guy grabbed one from in back. The hosts were really cool and nice.

Cool stuff draws near! How I wish I was part of that event. Then again, I only began playing Dragon Quest IX the day of the event.

There having another event this weekend at Best Buy like this. I can't go because I'm already going to Lollapalooza. There's also an additional event at Simon malls that's a touring promotion of DQIX. I'll be going to that one the sunday a week after the Best Buy event.

All is not lost, then.

Awesome stuff! I am very sad that none of the GameStop stores in my area were hosting this event. I still can't understand why they have no problems hosting a Pokemon event but when it comes to Dragon Quest the event was such a disorganized mess.

I might be able to go to the Best Buy one. I believe the nearest Simon Malls is over 100 miles away...

The closest Simon Mall is in San Francisco, which is about 45 minutes away from where I live without traffic, so I won't be going to that one. I will be checking out the Best Buy one, though.

@SilverBlacktail: The events for "San Francisco" will not actually be held in San Francisco.

Santa Rosa Plaza on 9/11/10 which is located in Santa Rosa, CA is about a little over an hour from San Francisco.
Stoneridge Shopping Center 9/12/10 which is located in Pleasanton, CA is about 40 miles away from San Francisco.

Chances are good that if you live about 45 minutes away from SF, you'll most likely have an easier time getting to the Simon Mall events than I will. I'll be heading to Santa Rosa for the event on the 11th though, I've already arranged it with my girlfriend and we'll probably revisit the Charles M Schulz Museum afterwards. I don't know of anything worth visiting in Pleasanton. Besides..., Peanuts are awesome. =]

sigh I wish I lived near a game stop... Or a game store in general, The closet thing for games is a wal-mart 50 miles away ._.

Oh, I didn't realize that. Thanks for the heads-up. Even then, though, I don't think I'll be able to make it.

Got the exact same poster and stickers at the Best Buy event today, though I got a different shirt.

I got a lanyard and a wristband on top of all of this stuff at the Best Buy event. The t-shirt was different though

Btw, if you hated the GS map for its difficult boss, you'll hate the Best Buy one even more!

Never got the GS map ... perhaps next Sunday when the Simon Malls thing rolls into town I may get it then.

All I got at the Best Buy event was the same poster and stickers again, but a different shirt that says "It's Party Slime!" And yep, already tried the Best Buy map, and died so hard.

What's the boss from the Best Buy map?

The map is called "Estark's Map" and the boss is, well, Estark.
