I did, it does definitely feel very much like a retro mascot platformer. The visuals can get extremely busy and make it hard to tell what's a platform and what's background at times but it's not major, Oscar can run almost as fast as Sonic though and it's easy to run into offscreen hazards and in some places you'll fall into a bottomless hole before you know what's going on (there's a large map on the bottom screen so you can theoretically spot the holes before you jump into them if you can be bothered to look down all the time). I don't think I've died for any reason besides holes or drowning, you have way too much health so even though you get hit way too easily it's hard to die from damage (may just be the difficulty level, don't remember if that's settable). Lives are given out liberally and you start with five continues...
Yeahh, I like the game, but I also have he problems KDR_11k mentioned. The holes are irritating, because Oscar runs very fast and doesn't stop in time for a hole. I think it should be more popular, but where's the review?!? If the review was here already more people would have downloaded the game.
Ooh, BTW: The game doesn't take much of you memory, it is only 38 blocks! That is almost nothing for an 800 points game... Pop+ solo was also small, is this by accident, or is this compensation for sd-menu that wasn't on the DSi? I have only 60 blocks left and I have already 3 games on my SD-card!
