I was wondering...... witch do more people like? Pokemon cards or games? IMO, the cards stink, but the games are awesome! What do YOU think?

Games. They should put the card game into the main games. So you can collect cards as well as Pokemon.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

I remember yu-gi-oh did that, where if you found a rare card in a package of cards, you could just use the 8 digit number to put it in the game. That way, you have double the chance to find a rare card!

lolz, that's a little awkward

I miss having a chatroom that was always in beta.

They don't make the card game videogames anymore. So they wouldn't lose any money I think.

There was a video game version of the card game, but not integrated into the main series like you propose.

I think the original card game (up to the second expansion, Jungle, I think) and the original Red, Blue, Yellow games are equal -- though if I favor either, it'd likely be the card game. I tried one or two expansions for the card game after, and it didn't seem to make the experience any better, just more complicated. I thought it was a great introductory CCG with a lot of depth and variety compared to what you'd likely expect. I kind of wish I still had my old decks, actually, though I imagine it would be an embarrassing process asking people to play.

I might have to try the video game version of the card game. The one thing holding the card game back from being better is that, though the video game requires an absurd amount of time investment if you want to play competitively, the card game requires just as much monetary investment, and fortunately the video game version should rectify that since there wasn't exactly anything like paid DLC for Gameboy.

I like both, but only play the games. Building decks is way too expensive. I'd love to see them make a new-age Pokémon Trading Card Game for DS with Wi-Fi, that would be straight on my must-buy list.

Games? Cards? or both... For me BOTH, pokemon card are really addictive to play and collect, if you have friends to play with you will have lots of fun and hours every day in the school, making your maze, the stategy, the rules of the play, it is really cool. So card is like more SOCIABLE. The games are good, addictive, sometimes challenging but after you beat the pokemon league there is not much to do, and it isn't so sociable like card, with card you have friends and fun, with a game you have fun but your alone, and you will get bored first of a game than of the cards.

Man's worst enemy is laziness.

Adam

What card game did you play that you're "making your maze"? Also, what video game did you play that you have to play alone and you can't do anything after beating the league?

Well pokemon card game, I have to "make my maze" like contruct it, put good card, energi card, trainer card to have at the end a total of 60 cards, without execing of 3 pokemon ex card or 1 star pokemon card. And well, wtf in pokemon you play alone, with nothing more than you and your ds or gamboy or whatever, ok exept if you change pokemons with your friends, but that is more boring as to play it alone.

There's no maze. There's a deck. You make a deck. A deck is not a maze. A maze is like when there are multiple paths and you have to find your way out. A deck is a set of cards.

And wtf, yes, you can play Pokemon against another player. It's not just trading.

Games. I used to play with the cards, but they are much too expensive and I kinda grew out of them.

Games. I never played the trading cards (though my bro would buy them and sell the rarer ones and pikachus to first graders for like 10 bucks each. Made some $$$ off them, before they got banned from his elementary school).

Never got into the card games. I did get the X-files trading card game, and my bro and I would play. It was a fun game (and probably fairly similar to most other trading card games). Deck building was too expensive and there was nobody else to play with.

I am way too lazy to think of something clever.
