The game just seems like the poor man's Canvas Curse. It take the basics from that game, takes away the power ups and challenge, and adds nothing new to the formula.

Is there a way to delete vines? That's the only thing that's annoyed me so far.

I don't think so, that has been annoying me too

The only way to delete vines is to make some elsewhere, since you can only have three at a time.

and @ballkirby, I wouldn't really say a poor man's Canvas Curse (especially since you could probably pick up CC for $10< these days), but while it plays similarly, it's a different take on the same concept. I'm sure it adds new things, like the ball in the last level of the demo, there will probably be a bunch of different things you can manipulate in the game. And we can't say that there's no challenge, I mean we've gotten to play FIVE levels from a DEMO. So, while the game doesn't feel entirely original, it will still be a fun romp, that takes the Canvas Curse gameplay to a different direction, and expand on it in its' own way.

Then again, we'll have to see when the retail version comes out at the end of the month.

Check out my classy comics.

I always drew a few teeny-tiny vines until the ones I wanted gone were gone. Other than that, I can't think of a way to delete vines.

I thought this game was very charming. It's like A. A. Milne's art style, Kirby Canvas Curse, Drill Dozer, and a kiwi somehow mutated into one game. I had a few minor control issues, but they didn't stop me from having fun. This is going on my holiday list.

Ehhhh, I didn't like it

You're just saying that because you're not controlling a toucan.

The thing that instantly makes me not want this game is not being able to control your character. I don't like it when they run on their own.

Hey everyone, if you haven't triend the demo yet you should try it, these is not a puzzle like Lemmings, it is almost not a puzzle at all, it is a fast thinking game, full of action, adventure and unexpected things! You need to find all the feather, don't die and make the whole level in the less time possible, ther will be lost of levels in the retail version, and all of them will have alot of replay value, you know, you with these demo, I can play the stages again, again and again, and I find them always sooo cool like the first time I played it, these is REALLY the platformer game with MOST replay value I have seen in my who live!!!!

If you did't liked it in the demo, play it again and again, you will find, that the games isn't soo hard, that it is fun and actually adictive!!!

This demo was so amazing.

Controls were tight, I liked the level design and Ivy's method of attack (a slingshot? WIN).
All in all, it reminds me a lot of Kirby: Canvas Curse, just not so colorful, but still looking great.

I'll be looking out for this, definitely.

The only way I "solved" that problem was drawing the vines elsewhere.

Canvas Curse allowed you to blow out the rainbow path with the mic, that could totally work for Ivy the Kiwi if it was still in development.

And for the record, Canvas Curse got that from Yoshi Touch N Go, the best DS game in history.
