You know those games that get negetive reviews? Those games that are rushed to launch or were laziliy made or worse: highly anticipated games that were total let downs to some but you can help but love them though you should be ashamed to say so? Here is my list of bad games that even though I love them, the mixed to negative reviews make in a guilty pleasure: Bakugan: Battle Brawlers, and How to Train Your Dragon.
Bakugan played like a cross between a RPG with you Bakugan's power level maxing out at 10, and a strategy game with stuff from alot of gaming genres crammed into about 4 to 6 hours of gameplay. You got you touch screen to roll your Bakugan on a field collecting Exp thingys and G-Power ups before trying to get your Bakugan on a card and hopefully using mini-game power ups to beat your enemies and win 3 cards.
How to Train Your Dragon is literally how to train your dragon. You play as either Hiccup or Astrid from the movie then have your dragons compete in turn based battles. No leveling system on this RPG. Instead you find and make better types of armor which raise your health meter and your stats. Kind of like a dumbed down version of the 3DS-ware title Crimson Shroud. Funny thing is I didn't like Crimson Shroud but I love this title that IGN ranked below 5.

I'd say Yoshi's Island DS because it seems to be universally disliked, but I'm not guilty about it. I honestly can't acknowledge it as a bad game.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

Why guilty pleasure?

Why do you care about what other people think? Enjoy the games you enjoy.

QUEEN OF SASS

It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

Not sure I like anything that is generally considered absolutely terrible. Probably Commando : Steel Disaster (I only have the DSiware version). It is basically a pretty good Metal Slug clone. (Thomas Whitehead just complained it wasn't like Contra). Or maybe Star Wars Episode 3 : Revenge of the Sith (The Ubisoft one).

I don't think it is a terrible game (I love it), but the general consensus seems to be that Viva Piñata Pocket Paradise is a bad game and I'm just there thinking "but this is so good!".

I'm nuts about dating sims, and I'm disappointed that there are so few of them available in the West. From memory, some of my games that would fit into that category are the Rub Rabbits games (loosely), Sprung, Miami Nights: Singles in the City, Miami Nights: Life In The Spotlight and Sweet Memories: Blackjack. Trashiness doesn't really phase me. I would be all over LovePlus if Nintendo bothered to release it in the West. Other games that scratch my dating sim itch are The Sims games and more recently, Fire Emblem: Awakening and Tomodachi Life. I also have Conception II, but that is more RPG than dating sim.

There are so few games in this genre that I'm willing to take whatever I can get (heck, I would have bought Date or Ditch [DSiWare] if they bothered to release it in the 3DS eShop). I have no interest in dating in real life, but the video game variety has always been really entertaining to me.

"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"

I didn't think I'll find someone who loves dating sims as well as I do in this thread I have Conception II (I won't lie, I bought it more for the dating sim feature more than the RPG gameplay) and I want to finish it because of it's dating sim visual novel feature and story but the gameplay makes it a bit challenging to progress.

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (a mediocre port of a good PC/Xbox game) and Call of Duty 4 (I hate COD as much as anybody who has a decent taste for videogames, but... It's an FPS with complete voiceover on the DS!)

I would say Super Dodgeball Brawlers and Lux Pain.

My Puppy Shop. It's absolutely terrible but I can't rest until I collect the final breeds to make the picture.
