So I was up past 1 AM yesterday. And he submit those 4 scores. Now I KNOW someone is scamming. Those 4 score would take MUCH longer then 6 hours. From 6 to 12 Belgium time too? Work much?

@Rayword: Soo I'm guessing if we send in anymore scores now that they wont be accepted for the contest? Looks like you can still enter scores, but they have up that they chose the highscore winner.

for what it's worth, I do hope they take your concerns into account. they should be able to spot something fishy going on in terms of impossibly-fast score submissions

Even then, they could shield themseves behind the fact that you don't need to post your scores at the same time you get them....

You youself saved your best score for the very last day. "TIMO" could've have done the same.

idk how the game works, but if it's possible to do that, to be honest that's probably a move i would've pulled if i had been interested in this contest. it sucks to be sniped right at the finish line, but sniping a contest works the same as sniping an auction, and a free Wii U as a prize isn't anything to sneeze at.

Here's the problem, he posted 3 other scores within 6 hours as well, all lower then 300000.

But it's easy to edit and fake.

I believe gameplay footage is the only 100 percent way as proof.

well, you try offering it first. if you can provide compelling evidence and show that it's easy to provide, perhaps they'll ask it of the other guy as well.

I think it's legit. You came in second. He snipered a score. That's exactly what I've done in contests myself, and it worked. Just seems like you're trying to whine and bully your way into a prize you didn't win.

Attacking some people for their grammar and spelling when English is obviously not their first language is just childish and won't win you much support, btw.

I'm talking about the companies action. I hear what you're saying. But the point is, that score is of legitimate concern over a 6 hour period.

And the company takes very, very unprofessional strides. Combined with a lack of logic over certain things there is a reason to be concerned.

And also, why would they need a "team of specialists" to check if their encryption method is decryptable?

@rayword45: They're already saying that they're speaking to their lawyer to see what must be done. Also, that 'the company is not valid' line looks like they're trying to add some levity to the situation when it's clear that English is not their first language, thus it fell a bit flat. I know you're deeply involved in this situation and I know you're upset, but the only thing I would advise is patience, which you have not shown during this situation at all.

I'm not showing patience for the obvious reasons first, but also because there are some pretty unprofessional situations.

When one person is being unprofessional, the best thing you can possibly do for yourself is to be as composed, polite, and professional as you possibly can. Stooping to their level does not help your case at all, especially when you're at the mercy of the party you're accusing of being unprofessional.

That said, again, language barrier? It be that the person operating the Cypronia FB account doesn't exactly have access to that information personally. Who knows?

Something tells me they won't want to make more contests lol.

I kinda feel bad for them actually.... You know, they decided to give away 3 consoles to advertise their little game and everything got complicated.

If you're gonna run a contest, then run it with some organization.

Assume Nintendo docks 0% off of every sale, that's still only $200. Yes, there are some who didn't submit, but DSiWare is one barren service. And with a price of about 300 Euros I last checked per Wii U not to mention shipping... Seriously what?
