In case you didn't know already, the countdown for the unknown game on square-enix's website (http://www.square-enix.co.jp/0706/) is for this. It's called 4 Warriors of Light: Final Fantasy Gaiden, and will be coming out this fall on the DS.

Is this a remake of the Gameboy game Final Fantasy Gaiden? If so, good. That game seems fun.

Nah, it was in the US as Final Fantasy Adventure. It is the first in the Mana series, though I don't know how the stories relate. Similar game play (action instead of turn-based).

Someone speaks japanese? Since the Countdown finished an hour ago but I can't read anything... and the site is flash so I can't copy the text to google-translate it...

Probably getting a Vita with LBP soon...

Oh, then I have played that lol. Got the remake, Sword of Mana, a few months ago too. Good Stuff. :)

As tragic as this is, the "Final Fantasy" in the title sold the game to me already.

I am a Final Fantasy TRAGIC.

Except Crystal Chronicles. That was lame.

I would like to play both Final Fantasy Gaiden and the remake for DS that is upcoming, namely Final Fantasy Legend II. Hopefully they'll get a Autumn release date here in the USA.

Totally looking forward to this. Love the nostalgic appeal. I'm very glad there's an outlet for this classic Final Fantasy style of game since VII took over and took the whole series, save IX, to weird new places.
