I respect that. Though i'm extremely frugal, I couldn't see myself doing that. Seeing myself with 2 copies of games would drive me nuts.
I bet I would be saying different things if these things weren't free, but I do prefer physical copies over digital given the option.

And you're right, the resolution fix doesn't help with brightness and the like, I just tried it out. I think full screen mode will suit me just fine.

You know you're a true collector when you have Urban Champion 3D (no offense to those who like the game)

So do I by a long shot. But how would you feel for example if your NES games looked washed out color-wise and were basically blown up looking?....ya that has nothing to do with graphics, I'm talking about how these games were intended to look.

Playing something like Super Mario Bros 2 for example with craptastic washed out colors would completely take away from the experience. These games are ment to be colorful and vibrant dude.

Actually, NES VC games do indeed look completely washed out, dark and the colors are awful.lol But you can always tweak your TV's settings specificly for NES VC games and boost the color up, contrast and the brightness by a bit to your liking.

I'm stilling downloading all of those free Ambassader games just so i can make my 3DS's menu look full and pretty.
Just knowing that I have all of those GBA games filled up on my 3DS makes me happy even though I'll never play them.

And Urban Champion 3D can't be 'that' bad can it?....Can it!? lol Honestly though i missed out on this little stinker back on the NES and I'm really loving the distinct retro-awesome Art direction and 3D enhancement going by the teaser trailer....Although I'm betting that the 3D effect when playing the actual game in person is better. That seems to be the Kool-Aid man case with every game.

Just played around with Kirby for the GBA, and it's flat out yuck-man yucky! Where are the colors!? The brightness isn't there either...Wait a minute, it's almost like these emulations are straight from the original GBA/GBA SP color-wise and brightness wise. I'm just so used to playing GBA games on my Nintendo DS lite which is SOOO much better. The incredible brightness and the vibrant beautiful colors make a world of a difference. Nintendo gave us the weaker emulations, which destroys the experience in comparison to playing these games on a DS lite. Ah well, the GBA games at least look awesome on my 3DS's Menu.

This is why I am refraining from looking at a regular picture.
It looks fine to me at present time and i'm scared to gaze upon perfect quality T_T

lol No! I command you to whip out your DS Lite and blast in a title(if you have one in CartForm) from the Ambassader list and do i side by side comparison. You'll be in awe when staring at your DS Lite, while vommiting in a Scooby Doo bucket when starting at your 3DS, wondering why in the hell you bothered with such a crappier version....Oh wait, it's free.

Blown up graphics(Or shrunk down to native res(i think) in Tiny Wrist watch-screen mode) with a dark image and completely washed out colors. Or settle for a razor sharp crisp image, amazing brightness and wonderful vibrant colors on the DS Lite muhaha.

Ok, Waveboy, why don't you call Nintendo and ask them why they didn't release 3DS-friendly and perfect versions of games that they did not charge for?

They do look a million times better on a DS lite. The 3DS mutates the pixels into bigger, mashed, zombie pixel brains that stab your eyes with nothing but the sheer horror of their blown-up grotesqueness.

That's funny because Mega Man & Bass for example, along with Super Mario Advance look washed out, sport crappier contrast, a darker image and boast much weaker color on my GBA SP in comparison to how they both perform on my DS Lite.
If you can't tell the difference then your eyes must of been dunked in Roger Rabbit Cartoon Acid.

All in all, you're basically just geting the PQ of how GBA games looked on the GBA/GBASP except with a disgusting blown up and pixelated look on top of it all. The DS Lite just rocks better Colors, contrast, brightness ect ect than the GBA SP since their LCD screen techy is a zillion light years better as to why they look miles better on it.

But yup, that basically wraps things up in a turtle oozy' nut shell. There's nothing more to say bud!

But that would require me to buy a DS Lite, which ain't worth the money since I have systems that play GBA and DS games (separately of course).

I will admit the GBA games do look a little washed out on the 3DS compared to the GBA SP. I don't think it's very noticeable unless different versions are side by side or I cared enough to gripe about it

me for example got a completely different problem with kirby , as its the ambassador version you cant play it in multiplayer. Yes you got a map but that level system looks for me totally wasted. I can see me running around in circles for hours and nothing happens. Map with little bawkses looks totally useless -.-
Ah shame the gameplay and angel kirby were just cute ...

As for the looks for NEs / GBa games im completelly happy with em. I compared metroid fusion and wario ware inc on my Gba sp and on the 3Ds and they both look way better and vibrant on the 3Ds. just saying ...

I don't mind playing in a smaller screen or playing it normally without pressing the select. What I do notice, however, is the "motion", how everytime your character is moving, there is some slight ghosting. Nothing major to me, but definitely noticeable and I can understand why it annoys people.
