I really hope that we'll be able to download these NES games early in the morning. Has anyone heard any specific time the games will be available to download?

Remember the Excitebike and the Nintendo Video app were available late in the day. Actually, the Nintendo Video app was available at 30min before midnight where i'm at.

Any thoughts?

Since it's the weekly update, I would think you'll see the Ambassador games go up at the normal time. Still, probably best to expect it in the evening - that way, you won't be disappointed if it doesn't come with the weekly update.

I really like Cipher's idea of having a pessimistic expectation to avoid disappointment though. lol

They should be released at the usual time for eShop updates, but knowing how many people will want to download them immediately, they may hold off until after peak eShop hours.

I WANT THEM TO RELEASE THE FREEBIES DURING THE eSHOP UPDATES! C'MON NINTY! DON'T FAIL ME LIKE NINTENDO VIDEO AND EXITEBIKE!

My guess is September 2nd, 2011 12:45 A.M. EST. I'm hoping I'm wrong.

If I were Nintendo, I'd release them in increments rather than all at once. The servers may be happier that way

I'm in the US and I have all of them!!!
Just go to "Your Downloads", scroll down, and then click "Redownload" on the game you want to get.

Judging by how the US and Japan both have theirs early, I'd say they better get them to Europe and Australia tommorow morning at least. Why would we get it late in the day when the rest of the world seems to be able to get it out early?

I'm very very surprised Nintendo is letting us get them a day early. It's so nice to wake up to this!

Did anyone get slow download times? They took about 20 seconds each for me.

20seconds isn't bad at all. My downloads usually take up to 2minutes.

Oh, I know. I asked because I was surprised at how fast it was.

Maybe the release of the games early in Japan and US means Europe will be getting on to it sooner rather than later.

Or maybe they're just the boring "by the book" ones who wait until Sept 1st.
