If you like flipnote that badly then why didn't you just keep your dsi? You could always buy a 3ds & still keep your dsi. I kept my dsi & still bought the 3ds when it came out.

I should not had made my statement past tense i still have my DSI, but i use 3DS More because it plays all my games and transferred all of DSI Ware but flipnote >.<
Maybe Nintendo thought SwapNote was good enough? They wouldn't be right, but it's possible.
I don't think it has to do with Hatena though, they merely host FlipNotes people share under a deal with Nintendo. Nintendo themselves developed, published and owns the actual software, so in theory they could find new hosting for it.
