I got into playing my Dad's pre 2k PC games again lately and when I was playing Outcast...and knowing the sad history of the game, I got an Idea. If the right company picks it up. Maybe it would make a great game for 3DS, it could be a totally new game or revamp...Of coarse with some changes, the original is still awesome despite its flaws but those should not be carried on to 3DS.
