I'm sure there are people out there like me who have very few or no friends nearby with a 3DS. I'm very excited for Tri Force Heroes. I thought it might be a good idea to have a multiplayer thread where we could trade friend codes and play sessions whenever we post about it.
Currently Playing:
Yakuza: Like A Dragon
Star Wars: Squadrons
Black Ops Cold War Zombies
Favorite game: Super Metroid
Well, that reeks. I almost saw that coming, but still...so disappointing.
I'm in a similar boat. I have one coworker who owns a 2DS, but he doesn't get around to playing it much, and he's not a huge Zelda fan. If I want to play online, it's likely that I'll have to stay up to some crazy hour as my internet isn't the best.
Currently playing: Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr's Journey, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (Switch)
Plus you need atleast 3 people in order to play. There is no "2 player" mode.
I think I'm going to pass on this game since almost none of my friends seem interested and the game looks more like a 1 time play through anyway. If I do get lucky and find one guy who has it, I still need to be luckier and find another in the same region.

A fact that still bugs me, and makes me feel as though this game was rushed a bit. While I understand the reasoning for the three player limit, I'm confused as to why they didn't try to implement and refine the system introduced in Four Swords Anniversary Edition. That made it completely usable for single players (in terms of switching ease) and at least having two players (even in the original game) still allowed for multiplayer.
I'll probably still pick up the game, but definitely not at launch. I'm trying to clear out some of my backlog, lol.
