I'm not saying it works that way, I'm saying I think it should work that way.

Hopefully they do get releases (in Japan as well) to crush the stupid rumors about that town. Then again - this is the internet, of course idiotic theories are going to be put forward.

There was a second version released of the game with the Lavender Town music edited. It's not a rumor. There called Binaural Beats. Originally it was just going to give you eerie feelings (subconsciously scare you) while you play the game, like most movies do today with horror film scores. However younger undeveloped ears if wearing headphones could cause mild cases of headaches or nausea.

What is fake however are the suicides.

It's sad that Nintendo can't even add in multiplayer to a game. They added it for some of the NES ambassador games and even included online play on the Wii VC ( I know it was Sega but it shows a game can be edited for multiplayer). Surely they can easily add multiplayer and link cable capabilities in a GB/GBC game.

I just want Pinball and the card game. I've got my SoulSilver cart for my early gen Pokemon fix but I've tragically lost those two carts over time. I really really want the TGC!

Scrap this.Make a Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald remake and I'll be overjoyed. Although I wouldn't mind a updated, brand new trading card game game and Pokemon Pinball

The pokemon card game was really fun, I would so buy it again.

It's not exactly like putting GB/GBC games on the VC service would take time away from them making a R/S/E remake...

Also games from gen 3 have to be on eShop for people who want to play Kanto on there 3DS with LG and FR, I mean they arnt going to remake a remake are they? LeprechaunLeafGrean FierceFireRed

They have to at least put the first Pokemon games on the eShop. I mean if 2 VC games in Japan have multiplayer than why not Gameboy games across the pond.

i want this so bad. Everytime i did a survey on the VC games I downloaded, when it says what you think of the VC console services I said it's missing Pokemon Red and Blue. I really want to play those games again. I love them.

I seriously hope it happens, I can't wait until it becomes reality and shifts onto the eShop some day.

Thinking about it - the Pokemon games are actually quite a dilemma.
The original pokemon games had a lot of glitches - Nintendo probably dont want to release the Pokemon games again with all of those problems. If multiplayer isnt included people would complain about losing such an important aspect (not really - but it is for pokedex completion). But if multiplayer is added then that would mean Restore Points ruin the experience for everyone, and if restore points arent added these would be the first 3DS VC games without them.

Phew. In the best scenario Nintendo would ideally remove restore points from any game it adds multiplayer to, but god know's what they would do if they ever decide to actually release these games.

yeah but fire red and leaf green didn't have those glitches so it's not impossible for them to add them to the eshop

It wouldnt be impossible to fix those bugs in the original GB versions - it would just take time Ninendo wouldn't put in.
They wouldnt add the GBA versions to the eShop if thats what you're implying because they have said they're not selling GBA games to the public - al least not for a long while.
