Agreed! Now please tell that to the producers at Walt Disney who are rehashing all their classics like Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. They need to FOCUS on re-telling the same stories through a different lens like they are doing with the abc primetime show 'Once Upon A Time' instead of focusing on rehashing the EXACT same story.
Still, I don't think a sequel to Super Mario Sunshine is in anyway a rehashing. I played Super Mario Sunshine on a demo in K-Mart and Wal-Mart but I never actually played the game itself and so therefore hence the reason why I support a sequel.

Was never a lover of Sunshine but i'd be willing to give it another go if they made a decent remake. Funily enough the one thing that didnt bother me with sunshine was the Camera, i found it easy to navigate with the extra analoge stick (not sure how it would work on 3ds though)
As others have already said I think its too soon for a Galaxy remake (as brilliant as it was)
