A few hours ago, Famitsu unveiled Story of Seasons: Good Friends of Three Villages. Leaks from the magazine provide a few more details about the project.
We mentioned earlier today that Lulucoco Town, Tsuyukusa Village, and Wes Town are in the game. The first one is tropical based, the second features a Japanese style, and the third one has a western theme. Famitsu seems to have character details about Wes Town this week. We’re waiting to hear about marriage candidates as this information has not yet leaked. Reports also mention “cute pets and animals”, though we’ll need to wait for tomorrow’s scans to see them for ourselves.
Just like in the past, players can choose their gender and appearance. This extends to skin color, hair color, facial expressions, and more.
One new element in Story of Seasons: Good Friends of Three Villages is a “Farm Circle” system. This allows players to increase efficiency by placing certain buildings and facilities in the farm.
Story of Seasons: Good Friends of Three Villages is 80 percent complete. It’ll be released early summer in Japan.

I usually go every other game for bokumono games because it takes me so long to finish them...however I do have my eye on this one. Story of seasons was good but it was missing a few staples. That being said I cant put it down so I'm likely to buy this new one. Really wish they'd go back to console though...any console at this point.

Day 1 buy without question. My main hope is for the return of a deep mining experience as I honestly rather liked the break from farming in winter.
YEEEEEES! That is my main complaint right there. I'm busy year round between my orchards, year round crops and greenhouses...but mining really needs to make true comeback.

Mining used to be an involved minigame, where you had mines with multiple (hundreds, even thousands) of floors. It started (kinda) in the N64 game.
You could use the hoe to dig around to find the stairs to go down a level. The deeper you go, the better the rewards.
Starting with Grand Bazar, the games kind of stopped featuring that kind of mine, choosing instead to add limited mining nodes around the area (ANB, SoS, TLV) or mineral stones you find randomly around the areas (ToTT, GB).
The traditional mining system is in Natsume's recently released Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories. Maybe since this game features a mining town, then mining will come back with it, too.
I love harvest moon games played a few now will definitely buy this one when it finally arrives in the UK can not wait for this game to come out hope they carry on bringing new harvest moon games out for the 3Ds I was disappointed because I could not play seeds of memories yet got to buy a Wii u now to play it as I did not have the right tablet or phone wish they would off put it on 3DS
Happy to see that it's getting translated, i have a year until then so i well be planning to get the first one soon.

Just got this game and so far it feels like a re-arrangement of the same old systems, which may not be a bad thing but clearly I need to spend a considerable amount of time with it before I can judge it.
