Sorry for the delay. I tried and couldn't get Mirai's other hand on. She doesn't even clip in to her stand so I gave up. Sorry I can't show her properly Mirai fans.
Ah, dang... Still, Estival Versus looks fun, probably worth buying a Vita for later down the line. It was confirmed Deep Crimson will be localised, right? I loosely recall reading it was, although my memory has failed me often. Though if I recall correctly, that confirmation was quite a while ago...
Senran Kagura 2 still isn't out ;_;

Gah, still nothing about this game, but the latest spin-off even gets a PS4 release, of all things!
@Chrizzel28 Well, so did Shinovi Versus, only to end up being hard to control, yet really boring. Also, keep in mind that, unlike the main series releases, the spin-offs don't have the same writer, which results in them being a lot less interesting.
As for me, I'll gladly vote for Kat! The only martial artist in the game that looks somewhat professional, and the only one who looks good in most of the alternate costumes!
Well, my choice is obvious, but... Mirai OP. Not only is she the cutest and a lolita, but she's also the most relatable. I mean, my life up until a few years ago was almost identical to her backstory. And of course, Valkyrie adds a... Unique charm.

Alright, finally got myself the Limited Box! If any of you want it, it's on sale right now (70%, that's insane!)! Get it while the Region-Three exploit is still active!
EDIT: Now the last one's up for somewhat more, but still a very generous discount! Grab it while you still can!
Also, there's a trailer for the new Senran Kagura title, Estival Versus.
Can't say I like it. Maybe it's just that it's only the beginning of the game, but it looks seriously shallow. The enemies just keep spawning for no sensible reason, the combat itself looks very reptitive and tedious, and the two new characters aren't really intersting, either. Can't warm up to it at all.

And then there's the spanking scene... really?
Thanks for the heads up on the sale! I just ordered this. I think I'll avoid updating my 3DS further until I get a chance to play this.
Have you played SK Burst, by any chance? This game looks like an enormous upgrade over it.
@Ralizah I do. I actually have the original JP release, as well. And SK2 is definitely better in every regard. More moves, more outfits, more characters, different weapons, customization, stable framerate (the slowdowns in BURST were ridiculous at times), and an even better story that gives the whole setting a very dark and serious tone. SK2 is the definite version among the series, vastly outclassing the first game AND Shinovi Versus.
If the game ever sees a western release, I'm gonna get it a second time - then I'll be able to understand the dialogue, too! ^_^

Good to hear it's as cool as it looked in the gameplay footage. The frame-rate, action, and atmosphere look SO superior to any of the previous games. If nothing else, it'd be worth it to have a SK game on 3DS that doesn't chug ridiculously when more than two enemies are on screen at once.
