A square producer says that if a remake would to happen it would take some things out while adding others.

I know It would be alittle expensive to make depending on what system they remake it for but i'm pretty sure this game would make back its profit and then some. Also am i the only one who want's Chrono Trigger 3D remake. Would love to see that though i'm not sure how good Toriyama's art is in 3D. (Blue Dragon was meh while DQVIII was great)

I can't believe it's happening in any capacity whatsoever for a Nintendo console. Sqaure would be stupid to do that, Sony would be stupid not to pay Square a lot of money not to do that if the cards were on the table. Nintendo is stupid enough not to outbid Sony for that game

As Far as ROG exclusivity (or becing the lead platfrom) it goes.

Sony- Final Fantasy
Nintendo- Dragon Quest
Mircosoft- ummm (Both Neir and Infinite Undisovery had potential for franchise)

Then all the other RPG players (tales,Level-5,etc) switch between platforms keeping everything as a check and balance.

Nier wasn't exclusive to Xbox 360 Just as well, because otherwise I might never have played that game. Still my favourite JRPG this generation.

But yeah, I agree. The main, numbered Final Fantasy games are Sony exclusive in spirit - and in fan expectation. There is no way that anyone out there in the industry would allow Final Fantasy VII to lose Sony exclusivity. I hope. If it did happen I'd lose any faith in these guys abilities to run businesses.
