Topic: Robot Rescue 3D

Well now, after looking for information about Clash of Elementalists (a DSiWare game) I randomly found out that Teyon was porting their Robot Rescue DSiWare games to the 3DS eShop.

It looks exactly the same as the previous DSiWare games, however, instead of the dungeons using both screens, they fit comfortably in the top screen alone. It also says it'll include all the levels from the previous 2 games, and aditional ones.

What do you guys think? Do you think they'll remove the DSiWare games from the eShop like nicalis did with cave story?

I loved Robot Rescue 1, I've never played Robot Rescue 2 though. But I am somewhat exited by this news.

Well, unless this game is unfairly priced (say, worth 10 dollars or something) I would say that it's good news to anyone who liked one of the previous games but never got the other one, or people who wanted to play them but never bought them.... They're quite fun after all (and can be pretty hard too).

It should also be more comfortable to play them like this.... And it would be nice to be able to have both games on my 3DS without them taking up precious DSiWare space.... But having to pay again for both doesn't sound nice... Unless it includes enough extra levels to be considered a new game and is priced right.

Yeah, I mentioned this in the "Upcoming 3DS Downloads" thread a couple of weeks ago.

Doesn't sound like my type of game, but I hope it ends up good for those of you who are interested

The game will sell for 3 bucks, it's a great deal since it comes with all the levels of the previous games included.
