I registred here just to say that I figured out the logic behind Floor 27, and to post an explanation of it, since I've used this thread as well when I've been stuck in the game.
Figuring out the key to walls on Floor 27 have obviously been giving a lot of people a headache, including me. So I caved in and found the answer in here. But then there was still the matter of unlocking the curse in the same manner. So after spending a while contemplating the signs, it finally dawned on me!
In case someone wants just a hint to try and figure it out themselves, the best I can say is to look at the signs and at where you're going. And in the case of the white signs, look to both sides. And if you're still stuck, unlock all the left squares and read the signs there for a very important clue.
SPOILER:
The key is in noticing that the number of characters on the black signs are 5, and 10 on the white signs. It suddenly occured to me that that was the number of squares plus walls that I was dealing with. For the black signs, you have 4 squares to get through and 1 wall, and with the white signs a total of 9 squares and 2 walls sealing them off.
So it's a matter of replicating the placement of the walls as it says on the signs. That's easy enough to figure out for the white signs, but the black signs require a little more explanation.
The signs at the end of the left hallway give the final clue to that. You have to read each sign two ways, from left to right and right to left. So the left sign shows 1 wall, then 4 squares but it ALSO shows 4 squares then 1 wall. The middle one is 1 square, 1 wall, 3 squares AND 3 squares, 1 wall, 1 square. And I guess they thought printing the right sign twice would give players a clue to figuring this out.
So you start off with 1 wall, 4 squares and as you bump the walls, you move onto the next sign showing the current configuration. So in reality the correct order is Right, Middle, Left, Middle, Right.
Finished up floor 53! I love it when you get that "Aha!" moment, when you're stuck on a certain puzzle, and then the answer just pops in your head so clearly.

It's been a while, but I think I remember.
There should be two nearly identical rooms, with plaques and buttons along their walls.
Each plaque corresponds to a button in the same spot in the other room (EX., in one room, there might be a plaque that says "A", in the middle of the north wall. In the other room, in that same spot, there will be a button that corresponds to it).
In this case, find the three plaques that say "E", and click their corresponding buttons.

Thanks,finish the floor 53
the floor 60 is hard, more puzzles for section u.u...a litle help is good
Glad I could help
If you would, could you explain how you got through floors 58, 59, & 60 (once you complete it)?
I forgot whether I'm on 58 or 59, but I know there are six switches along the top, and the plaques don't seem to be much help (just red or white shapes that don't make much sense to me).

So I've done floors 1-38 and finished all the side puzzles and have all the items so far and I'm stuck on floor 39. I've got the whole map uncovered but I can't figure out the side puzzle to get the story plaque. I know it wants me to go the shortest possible distance with the yellow stone to the other pedestal but no matter which way I go I can't get it. Is there something I'm missing?
