A bunch of the games mentioned here I'd absolutely agree with. I'd add in the only really good 3DS launch title that I never hear much about, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars. It's a brilliantly designed, challenging, and decently lengthy futuristic tactics game.

Currently Playing: Yakuza Kiwami 2 (SD)

@Anti-Matter It's been a while since I've played, but many enemy types have different weaknesses. If I recall, the snakes were weak against spears, so having a Drauk in your party at that point is pretty crucial.

Of course, as with many games like that, party levels and gear are pretty important too.

Currently playing: Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (Switch), Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations (Switch)

Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition

It's the worst way to play SFIV by far, and the touchscreen mapping functionality breaks online battles in two, but goddamn was it just impressive as hell to see Street Fighter IV on a handheld, as this was even before Vita came along and became the first handheld fully capable of mimicking the arcade fighter experience with stuff like Ultimate Marvel 3 and BlazBlue Centralfiction

Heroes of Ruin for me

The lore is actually really good and the game is so set up for a sequel.
