Topic: Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Discussion

Well, after sinking nearly 450 hours into this game I think it's time I delete my save file to keep me from playing this anymore (or delete the game from my SD). This game is just too good and addicting. I'll take a week or so off, and then I come back and it sucks me right back in. It's been a blast playing this but I think I'm done with MH for the foreseeable future. If I could exercise a little more restrain it might be nice to keep this game around, but I find myself saying, "OK, I'll do one quest and that's it." Only to play for several hours and become obsessed with completing an armor set or finding a rare part for a weapon. Thanks for all the epic hunts but I'm done.

Eh, just keep playing. You'll eventually get tired of it and stop playing.

By the time you get tired of it, chances are Cross will be around the corner anyways.

yeah, it probably will. I went ahead and deleted the game from my 3ds and I feel better. It was actually getting in the way of other things I want to do. I have enough distractions as it is.

Hopefully you kept the save file.

Deleting is a bit much, lol. All it takes for me is to rage quit, giving 4U a break right now and semi-relaxing in Xenoblade 3D, lol. (mainly exploring and doing that Colony 6)

In this game I'm at the point where all the monsters are getting irritating, I'm too scared to see what G-Rank Kirin is like. lol

Well, the game and the save data is gone. If I had the save data it would be too tempting to play again. All evidence of my unhealthy relationship with MH has been destroyed. As far as the authorities are concerned I'm just a well adjusted man with a healthy appreciation for video games.

Anyway, can you imagine if Cross also releases in February? That's be insane, not that I want it to be annualized, but it isn't exactly annualized, because much of the game is already made in past releases.

....Anyone still playing this? Xenoblade started getting on my nerves, so I'm switching back again, lol

I played a bit of 3U the other day.

Haven't played this one for a few weeks.

I occasionally play it, though I usually just play whenever my friend does and he doesn't play too often since he's usually busy doing other stuff.

Bleh, was thinking of seeing if anyone wanted to help me with completing some quests.

Yeah...I think I lost my skills in this game...like, I fought G-Rank Rajang before and took him down...was a decent hunt. I fought him again and failed the quest in 5 freakin' minutes. T.T

It's just hunters fatigue. Give it a rest and eventually you'll be good again.

But I did....for a couple of weeks now. lol
Anyways if you wanna hunt online now I'm ready, guess I would like to try and at least unlock Gog. (I heard his health is a bit too high to solo, though...)
