He does have a barrier. The fiery stuff that surrounds him can hurt you.
It's still not an IRRITATING one like Kushala's though. Fire Barrier? Bam, Heat Cancel, problem solved. lol
You need to hunt chameleos first, lol.
Wind Res Hi still doesn't negate the Black Wind Barrier, I still get pushed back constantly whenever I try to attack or even mount him. I have both Chameleos's armor and Gunlance. It doesn't help me.
