They'll likely use the gyroscope. They'll probably do it in a similar way CUbic Ninja is: you can have standard controls with 3D or gyro controls and no 3D. I would bet that Mario Kart will have some type of gyroscope implementation on it.
It's very likely. Mario Kart Wii did it because of the Wii's motion controls, so I'm assuming Mario Kart 3DS will follow in its footsteps, seeing how a gyroscope is built in. A Circle Pad option will obviously be there, too.
Yes, I think Cubic Ninja might be an interesting game. I just hope if I get tired of the Gyro controls there is a setting so I can us the classic controls. Though the gyroscope will make it awesome!

From what I've read on the internet and in Nintendo Power Mario Kart 3DS will indeed feature gyroscopic controls. However, I'm more excited about being able to play the game with the Circle Pad and classic D-pad.
